Use Hero's formula:

Area = √(s(s-a)(s-b(s-c)) where s = the semi-perimeter and a, b and c are the lengths of the 3 sides.

s = (16+30+34)/2 = 80/2 = 40

So the area = √(40(40-16)(40-30)40-34))

= √(40*24*10*6)

= √57600

= 240.
