1. You are looking for a company to stream movies. The company GROVE charged $6 for each movie. There is a membership fee of $10.

a. Write an equation for the total cost based on the number of movies rented. Define each variable.

c. If a family had a total of $80 to spend on movies, how many movies can the family buy?

Please help me. I'd really appreciate it :')

The family can by 11 movies and still have remainder of 4 dollars
Step by step explanation.
Step1: because the member ship fee is 10 and the family starts of with 80 dollars u have to subtract 10 dollars from 80.You should get 70
Step 2: Now as 1 movie costs 6 dollars you should dive their remaining money of 70 dollars by 6 dollars for every movie which you should get 11.6666666667 but as we are talking about money at the moment you can't buy 6/10 of a movie. So instead of writing 11.6666666667 u can write 11 and a remainder of 4 dollars.
Check: check your work by mutiplying 11 by 6 then adding 10 and 4.you should get 80.
