x^3 - 4=


((2)/(3) )^3 - 4=


((2^3)/(3^3) ) - 4=


(8)/(27) - 4=

(
(8)/(27) - 4)*27/27= ==> multiply by 27 to get rid of denominator

(8-4*27)/27=

(8-108)/27=-100/27
