Plug 6 into the problem
1) 4((6)+5)-2(6)/3
Add 6 + 5 to get 11
Multiple 2 • 6 to get 12. But remember that there is a negative sign before it so it would be negative.

2) 4(11)-12/3
Multiply 4 • 11 to get 44
Divide -12/3 to get -4

3) 44-4
Subtract

4) 40
