Our standard linear slope equation is:

mx + b = y

We're told our slope is 1/2, so that's our m value.

When x = 0 our value is 5. If you need this visualized, then:

1/2 * 0 +b = 5

0 + b = 5

b = 5

So our equation looks like:

x/2 + 5 = y
