5) Margot buys a 5 litre bottle of lemonade for £2.30. She divides it into glasses. She

pours 250ml into each glass. She sells all the glasses at 25p each.
Work out her percentage profit.

Explanation:

5 Litre x 1000 ml (1 litre=1000ml)

=5000 ml

5000÷250

=20 glasses

20 x 25p = 500p (£1 = 100p)

£(500÷100)=£5.00

5.00-2.30/2.30 x 100%

=2.7/2.3 x 100%

≈117.39%
