Formula we use,

→ P = 2(L + W)

Then the value of L and W is,

→ P = 2(L + W)

→ 48 = 2(2x + x)

→ 2(3x) = 48

→ x = 48/6

→ [ x = 8 ]

Then the width will be,

→ W = x = 8 ft

Hence, the width is 8 ft.

Now the length will be,

→ L = 2x = 2(8) = 16 ft

Therefore, the length is 16 ft.
