Answer: a=-0.75

Explanation:

14a - (2a +9)=2/3 (12a-18)​

14a - 2a -9=2/3 * 6(2a-3)​

12a-9=2*6/3 (2a-3)​

12a-9=2*2(2a-3)​

12a-9=4(2a-3)​

12a-9=8a-12

4a-9=-12

4a=-3

a=-3/4

a=-0.75
