  • What is the Solution for x ?

\bigstar\overline{\textsl{\large{Solution :}}}

  • In the Equation
    \textsl{8x-5=2(3x+1)+2x}, x =

To find x, expand the expression in brackets ,collect the similar terms :

\textsl{8x-5=6x+2+2x}

By collecting the similar terms :

\textsl{8x-5=8x+2}

By decreasing by 8x bothsides :

\textsl{-5=2}

Or in other words ,this equation has no solution.

x is undefined

we move all the terms to the left

8x-5-(2x(3x+1)+2x)=0

we calculate terms In parentheses; (2(3x+1)+2x), so we multiply parentheses

6x+2+2x

we add all the numbers together, and all the variables 8x+2

back to the equation

-(8x+2)

we get rid of all parentheses

8x-8x-2-5=0

we add all the number together and all the variables

0x-7=0

we move all terms containing x to the left all other terms to the right

0x=7

therefore x=7/0

which means x is undefined
