How can I find the factors of a number? (sorry I'm in year 9, some people know it as 8th grade and I really really struggle in Maths)

Answer:

The quickest way to find the factors of a number is to divide it by the smallest prime number (bigger than 1) that goes into it evenly with no remainder. Continue this process with each number you get, until you reach 1

Find all the numbers less than or equal to the given number.

Divide the given number by each of the numbers.

The divisors that give the remainder to be 0 are the factors of the number.
