Answer: y=2x-5

Explanation:

The sought line is parallel to the line y=2x-1 , therefore y=2x+b.

The line passes through the point (1, -3), thus:

-3=2*1+b

-3=2+b

-3-2=2+b-2

-5=b

Therefore: y=2x-5
