How should I start an apology essay?

I have to do this mindless essay for AVID class -_-

this is probably late but i just saw it so i’m gonna answer it anyways, i personally would start with “Dear _ i sincerely apologize for …” and then just explain why you’re apologizing. sorry if it’s late!

You start with "I'm sorry for" or you can do "I apologize for"
