Explanation:

Okay! So alternate interior angles are basically just angles that are on the inside, but on opposite sides. For example, all of the inside angles are <8, <4, <5, and <3. The outside angles are <1, <7, <6, and <2. Now using that information, you can start to look at the inside angles. When it says alternate, that means they can't be on the same side. This means that <8 and <4 are not alternate angles and neither are <5 and <3. So instead, you look for angles that are diagonally opposite each other. Such as: <4 and <5. Another example is <8 and <3. I hope this helped!!! :)
