Answer:

2000 or 20

Explanation:

a = cost of adult tickets

c = cost of children's tickets

3a + 2c = 2350

2a + 4c = 2500.

6a+4c = 4700

2a+4c = 2500

4a = 2200

a = 550 or $5.50

3(550) + 2c = 2350

1650 + 2c = 2350

2c = 700

c = 350 or $3.50

The Diaz family's spendings is 3a + c = 3(550) + 350 = 1650+350 = 2000 or $20
