Hello There ~

The Correct statement there is : B

Plants and Animals both need to perform cellular respiration as they need energy to carry out theirs life processes and they get energy in form of
{ (ATP)} by performing respiration.

but plants are the ones who perform photosynthesis as well, because they meet all necessary criterias for it, that is : they have green leaves having chlorophyll in it, they can trap sunlight, absorb
{CO2} through Stomata and water through roots and hence perform photosynthesis to prepare food for themselves.

#Hope it helps -',...,'-
