Answer:

x = 4.5

Explanation:

Given M is the midpoint of FG , then

FM = MG = 7x - 15

FM + MG = FG , that is

7x - 15 + 7x - 15 = 33

14x - 30 = 33 ( add 30 to both sides )

14x = 63 ( divide both sides by 14 )

x =
(63)/(14) = 4.5
