URGENT: What am I meant to write in a rationale??? I wrote a flash fiction in response to a sci-fi novel we read in class (Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff), it is meant to convey the theme of journeys in response to the quote, “If your ship sails from sight, It doesn’t mean the journey ends, it simply means the river bends”. It is meant to be 500 words. I was thinking an intro, conclusion and 2-3 body paragraphs but what do I write where? Maybe a paragraph on the themes saying it was conveyed through symbols, motifs etc. And then one on characterisation or something? But that doesn’t seem big enough. I really don’t know. Help!!! I don’t know why this was removed last time, what rules does this break? I am just asking what to include in a rationale?
