Explanation:

3x - 2x² = 7

2x² - 3x + 7 = 0

or

f(x) = 2x² - 3x + 7

a = 2

b = -3

c = 7

5 - 2x² = 6x

2x² + 6x - 5 = 0

or

f(x) = 2x² + 6x - 5

a = 2

b = 6

c = -5

(x+3)(x+4) = x² + 4x + 3x + 12 = x² + 7x + 12 = 0

f(x) = x² + 7x + 12

a = 1

b = 7

c = 12

(2x + 7)(x - 1) = 2x² - 2x + 7x - 7 = 2x² + 5x - 7 = 0

f(x) = 2x² + 5x - 7

a = 2

b = 5

c = -7

2x(x - 3) = 15

2x² - 6x = 15

2x² - 6x - 15 = 0

or

f(x) = 2x² - 6x - 15

a = 2

b = -6

c = -15
