Part (a)

Let the tablespoons of lemon juice be x.

(50)/(5)=(x)/(4)\\\\10=(x)/(4)\\ \\ x=40

40 tablespoons is equal to 2.5 cups.

Part (b)

Let the pints of olive oil be y.

(50)/(5)=(y)/(1/2)\\\\10=(y)/(1/2)\\\\y=5

5 cups is equal to 2.5 pints.
