The length of a rectangle is 5ft longer than it's width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 58ft, find the length and the width.

Answer:

9.5 as the width and length would be 19.5

Explanation:

58/4 since there are 4 sides=14.5 each side and if the length is 5 ft longer than width, subtract 14.5-5=9.5 as the width and length would be 19.5

to check add the all the length and width of the rectangle and the answer would be 58ft.
