If you double President Washington's age at the time of his first inauguration, 57,

and subtract his age at the time of his death, the result is 47. How old was
President Washington when he died?

The answer is 67

First double the 57 which gives us 114
Then subtract 114 by 47:

Step 1) 57x2=114

Step 2) 114-47=67
