Greetings from Brasil...

In the statement it is said that:

b = 2h

where

b = base

h = altitude

So,

b = 2h ⇔ h = b/2

For area:

A = b.h

as h = b/2

A = b.(b/2)

as A = 50, according to statement

50 = b²/2

b = 10

and

h = b/2 ⇒ h = 5

The length of the base of a parallelogram is twice the length of its altitude. The-example-1
