warning: might have opinionated text here i am a immigrant so

Ever since the begginning of the US, there has been problems for immigrants, From the colonizers in the 1700's, to the Chinese exclusion act to acts of hate against POC today, there has always been problems. In the late 1880's, Chinese people were hate crimed more, and they were physically insulted. Even now Chinese people face insults and abuse, and it's always challenging to find your footing in a place filled with people who's families have been there for centuries. Immigrants may also be misinformed about certain political figures leading in a bias against them, like North Korean defectors being lead to hate the US and certain political parties that aren't as strict. Immigrants are usually given poorer, less paying jobs. This is a social issue too- most POC are given the worst jobs. But there are large gaps between the Higher class and the Lower class. Most immigrants are stuck with lower paying jobs, barely able to scrape by.

hope this helped somewhat! dm me or smth if this isn't what you wanted!
