Here, We are given a side of a cube.. Since, it is a cube alk the sides are equal amd the formula for volume of cube is:

\boxed{ \tt \: {side}^(3) }

  • Side = x+1

Volume of cube;

\sf \longmapsto \: (x + 1)^(3)

  • Expand using the identity

  • \boxed{ \tt {(a + b)}^(3) = {a}^(3) + {3a}^(2)b + {3ab}^(2) + {b}^(3) }

\sf \longmapsto \: {x}^(3) + {3x}^(2) * 1 + 3x * {1}^(2) + {1}^(3)

  • Calculate the product and evaluate all the powers

\therefore \rm \: Area = {x}^(3) + {3x}^(2) + 3x + 1

Answer:

volume = x^3+3x^2+3x+1

Volume of a cube is given by a³ where a denotes side of a cube.

Here given side:

  • x + 1

So, the volume:

  • (x + 1)³
  • (x + 1)(x + 1)(x + 1)
  • (x² + x + x + 1)(x + 1)
  • (x² + 2x + 1)(x + 1)
  • x³ + x² + 2x² + 2x + x + 1
  • x³ + 3x² + 3x + 1
