I would like to plot the time response of a step disturbance of a control system, but I am not sure what I have to plot.

I have tried to plot the step response of the Sensitivity function, but I am not sure it is the correct thing to do. So, what I have done is something like:

Answer:

plot the output function with a step function input

Explanation:

Plot what you say you want to plot.

Apply the transfer function to the step input function and see what the output is. Plot that output.

If you're using Laplace transforms, multiply the transfer function F(s) by 1/s, the representation of the input step. FInd the inverse Laplace transform of the product (1/s)F(s), and plot that. Partial fractions are usually involved.
