Answer:


{ (x + 4)/(4) } = (2x - 7)/(3)

  • By cross multiplication:


4(2x - 7) = 3(x + 4)


8x - 28 = 3x + 12


8x - 3x = 12 + 28


5x = 40


x = (40)/(5)


x = 8
