Answer:

(iii) Slope is the same in both cases

Explanation:

The slope of a linear graph is given by rise/run

Basically it is the ratio of the change in the y values to the corresponding change in the x values

If you select any two points on the line say(x1, y1) and (x2, y2) then the slope is computed as (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

To compute slope select any two points on the graph and use the formula above. You should use integer values if possible

Slope of graph A

Select any two points. We see that when x = 2, y =0 and when x=4, y =2

So two convenient points are (2,0) and (4,1).

Slope = (1-0)/(4-2) = 1/2

Slope of graph B

We see that when x =1, y =1, when x =43 y =2. So two points we can select are (1,1) and (3,2)

Slope = (2-1)/(3-1) = 1/2

So both slopes are equal

Note there is a third convenient point ie at x=5, y = 3. This will yield the same result
