Answer: 3(2a^2+1)(4a^4-2a^2+1)

Explanation:

You factor out the common factor which is 3

3(8a^6+1)

= 3((2a^2)^3 + 1^3)

then you use the a^3 + b^3 rule = (a+b)(a^2-ab+b^2)

3(2a^2+1)(4a^4-2a^2+1)
