y = C/h - 4

Explanation:

C = (4+y)h

Divide both sides by h.

C/h = 4 + y

Next, subtract 4 from both sides.

C/h - 4 = y

y = C/h - 4

Make sure it looks like a fraction in front and then minus 4. (It shouldNOT look like the minus 4 is on the bottom of the fraction with the h.)
