Here, we get the equation

x + 3 = 8

x + 3 - 3 = 8 - 3

x = 5

Here, we get the value of x is 5

Now, By Pythagoras Theorem

x² + y² = 13²

(5)² + y² = 169 (x = 5)

25 + y² = 169

y² + 25 - 25 = 169 - 25

y² = 144

√y² = √144

y = 12

So, breadth = 4 + 12 = 16 inch

Now, For the area of rectangle

A = l × b

A = 8 × 16 in

A = 128 square inch

In a given triangle,
