Please help this is for my geometry math class! I don't understand how to get thia answer I think it has somthing to do with a distance formula or a midpoint formula if u can't help please don't answer I don't want to fail the class!

Mathematically, you are correct, the distance formula is used

Arthur Location: (20, 35)

Cameron Location: (65, 40)

Jamie Location: (45, 20)

Distance formula:

d = √(x2 - x1)² + (y2 - y1)²

First Image is calculating Arthur distance to Cameron

which the distance is 45.276925690687

Second Image is calculating Jamie distance to Cameron

which the distance is 28.284271247462

28 is less than 45 hence Jamie is closer to cameron
