The steps to solving this equation is this:
1. First combine like terms. If there are 2 x values(ex, x, 2x, 3x, 4x, etc.) combine them together. If there are 2 numbers that don’t have a variable with them, combine them together. In this case you combine 4x and -2x together.
2. Add 3x to each side of the equation. Doing this gets x to one side of the equation which is what we want.
3. Get x by itself. To get x by itself you must divide the 5x AND -15 by 5. Then you should get an answer of -3
-15 - 3x = 4x - 2x Please help and EXPLAIN-example-1
