You can simplify any rational expression (fraction/fraction) or (fraction/number) or

(number/fraction) or even (number/number) by using

KEEP-CHANGE-FLIP

KEEP the first fraction (or the one on top), CHANGE the ÷ to times. FLIP over the last fraction (or bottom expression) see image.

Keep the x/3x-1 the same, change to multiplication. Flip over the second term to be 2x / x-2.

To multiply, you multiply straight across: top×top and bottom×bottom. See image.

(the very small final answer is just in case you are expected to multiply out the denominator. I think the factored form is neater. See image.
