A pink crayon is made with 12 mL of red wax for every 5 mL of white wax.

Multiply 12 and 5 (by the same number) and add them to get whatever total ml of crayon wax is specified.
Ex: Total ml divided by 17, then find how many parts are red(12ml) and white(5ml)
