Question

(1.62 * 10^3) + (3.4 * 10^2)

the answer is 1.96 10^3
but I need to show my work. The problem? I don't know what to do to get TO the answer. It's one of those things where the question is completely different from what they teach you.

Your probably getting the answer 1960. Don't worry, it's not wrong.

`0.96 * {10}^(3) = 1960`

Check it in your scientific calculator if you have one
