(1.62 * 10^3) + (3.4 * 10^2) the answer is 1.96 10^3 but I need to show my work. The problem? I don't know what to do to get TO the answer. It's one of those things where the question is completely different

(1.62 * 10^3) + (3.4 * 10^2)

the answer is 1.96 10^3

Answer:

Your probably getting the answer 1960. Don't worry, it's not wrong.

$0.96 * {10}^(3) = 1960$

Check it in your scientific calculator if you have one
