Answer:

Explanation:

First term = 2k +3

Second term = 3k - 1

Third term = 5k - 3

As, it is AP,

Second term - first term = Third term - Second term

3k - 1 - (2k + 3) = 5k -3 - (3k -1)

3k - 1 - 2k -3 = 5k - 3 - 3k + 1

3k - 2k - 1 - 3 = 5k - 3k - 3 + 1

Combine like terms

1k - 4 = 2k -2

Add '2k' to both sides

k - 2k -4 = -2

-k - 4 = - 2

Add 4 to both sides

-k = -2 +4

-k = 2

Multiply both sides by (-1)

k = 2 * (-1)

k = -2

2k + 3 = 2*(-2) + 3 = -4 +3 = -1

3k - 1 = 3*(-2) - 1 = -6 - 1 = -7

5k - 3 = 5*(-2)- 3 = -10 - 3 = -13
