- (y)/(5) - (2)/(15)

Explanation:

y=-2/3 -5x

Swap sides so that all variable terms are on the left-hand side

-2/3 - 5x = y

add 2/3 to both sides

-5x= y + 2/3

Divide both sides by −5.


(-5x)/(5) = (y + 2/3)/( -5)

Dividing by −5 undoes the multiplication by −5.


x = (y+(2)/(3) )/(-5)

Divide y+ 2/3 by −5.


y= - (y)/(5) - (2)/(15)
