Each pizza that a shop sells is 6 dollars. Bread-sticks are three dollars. So X is will represent the number of pizza's brought from a restaurant before lunch hour (single slices will be serve individually).
We know that three of dollars made from the restaurant before lunch were from bread-sticks, so we can subtract three from both sides of the equation . It will now look like this >> 6x=93. We have the same equation, just that three was subtracted. Now in order to solve for X, we must divide 93, into 6. 93/6 is 15.5
This means the restaurant sold 15 pizzas and a half pizza (or 15 pizzas, and 4 slices, because, because 4 is half of 8 slices on the standard pizza), before their lunch rush.
I HOPE THIS HELPS, GOOD LUCK AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED HELP WITH ANY OTHER PROBLEMS.
