Because it is public opinion, the social force that turns information into news, since if people do not find out that a man bit a dog, then no matter how sensational that information may be, it will not have any news value within the communicational environment where we live, so the media is in charge of preparing the news food, and the public opinion will be in charge of consuming it or vomiting it, depending on the credibility and veracity of the ingredients that were used, to prepare a sweet news or a bitter lie.
