Okay so first you would do the top section and for the time being we will forget about the bottom. Than we will fill in the variables so we would have (6+-8)^5. You need to work on the parentheses first and when you add them together you will get -2. So now you have -2^5. When you use the exponent you’ll get -32. Okay now save that in your mind and ignore the top part now. You have a-2b^2. When you fill in the variables you will get 6-2*-8^2. If you are using the pemdas rule you would do -8^2 first. You would than get -64. And your equation should now look like 6-2*-64. Next you will do -2*-64 Which equals 128. Now you have 6-128 and that is -122. Okay so take your first Number (from the top) and get your last number (from the bottom) and it will look like this -32/-122. So now just divide and your answer is -16/67
