Explanation:

R is the correlation coefficient between the x variable and the y variable. This tells us how strong si the correlation between them. As we can see in the graph, the more you increase x, the more y decreases, this means that r is negative. Hence, weonly have 2 options left now.

If we keep looking at the points, we can notice that they don't form a perfect straight line, which if r=-1 they would form a perfect line, therefore, the best value to assign for r should be -0.9.
