Condominiums and cooperatives

The answer is Condominiums and cooperatives.

Condominiums

Condominiums are also called as in short condos.

Condominiums are privately owned properties that are within a community of other units. In most cases, the owner will own both the interior and the underlying structure of the materials of the condo he or she is living in. Generally, it's a type of housing unit that is part of a larger project and is offered for sale to prospective buyers as part of the project.

Cooperatives

Cooperatives in the real estate field are usually formed on the same principles and guidelines that apply to other cooperative organizations, such as credit or banking cooperatives. They are owned and operated by those who use the services of these organizations for the benefit of those who use them. A specific, identifiable unit does not belong to any one owner as far as the ownership of the unit is concerned.

Hope this helps :)
