It’s no solution—due to the fact that -5 = -13

{ \qquad\qquad\huge\underline{{\sf Answer}}}

Let's solve ~

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: 3x - x - 5 = 2(x + 2) - 9

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: 2x - 5 = 2x + 4 - 9

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: 2x - 5 = 2x - 5

here, the function is valid for all real values of x, as whatever value we take as x, they cancel out. Hence we can conclude that x can have all real values, and has infinte solutions.
