Answer:

I am confused on what means fully simplify your answer, i am doing it how i usually do

Slope is 5/4

Explanation:

Solution

For slope of st.line with equation 4x+5y=35

Slope(m1)

=(-x)/(y)\\=(-4)/(5)

Let the slope of required st.line be m2

Since the lines are perpendicular to each other.

m_(1)m_(2)=-1\\or, (-4)/(5)m_(2) = -1\\or, m_(2)=(-1* 5)/(-4)\\m_(2)=(5)/(4)

Therefore, the required slope is 5/4
