this is like 3⁴×3³ = 3⁷

because

3×3×3×3 × 3×3×3 = 3×3×3×3×3×3×3 = 3⁷

it is that simple.

and that concept is also valid for any kind of number as exponent. even for fractions and so on.

so,

6^3 × 6^(1/4) = 6^(3 + 1/4) = 6^(12/4 + 1/4) = 6^(13/4)
