Answer:

y =
(2)/(3) x + 5

Explanation:

y = mx + b the m is the slope and the b is the y-intercept. They gave us the slope. It is 2/3 We are going to use the slope and the point on the line for find the y-intercept (b).

The point is in the form (x,y) We are going to use that in our equation. We will replace x with -3 and y with 3.

y =mx + b

3 =
(2)/(3) (-3) + b Multiple by -3

3 = -2 + b Add 2 to both sides

5 = b

y = mx + b

y =
(2)/(3) x + 5
