forgive me but I have a question about progressions in math
last week I saw a video about sequences and series and the professor said :
( sequences and series go under the category progressions )
and we have three types of progression: arithmetic, geometric and harmonic
so my question is: why don't we say square number progression or triangular number progression
why do we only call them sequences
