Explanation:

the area (A) of a parallelogram is

A = bh ( b is the base and h the perpendicular height )

here b = 11 and h = 5 , then

A = 11 × 5 = 55 units²

the perimeter ( P) is the sum of the 4 sides

The opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent , then

P = 11 + 11 + 6 + 6 = 34 units
