Explanation:

f(x) = \frac{3 {x}^(2) - 7 }{4 {x}^(2) - 3 } = > f(2)then \: substitute \: 2 \: to \: where \: there \: is \: x \\ = > \frac{3( {2)}^(2) - 7 }{4 {(2)}^(2) - 3 } \\ = > (3(4) - 7)/(4(4) - 3 ) \\ n \\ bracket \: means \: multiply \: \\ (12 - 7)/(16 - 3) \\ substract \: 7 \: from12 \: and \: 3 \: from \: 16 \: \\ you \: will \: get \\ = > (5)/(13)
