Answer: 3y^4 - 4y^2 + 5

Explanation:

Im fairly sure this is the answer but again i dont know

3y^8 = 3 x y x y x y x y x y x y x y x y

4y^6 = 4 x y x y x y x y x y x y

5y^4 = 5 x y x y x y x y

=

(3×y×y×y×y×y×y×y×y)−(4×y×y×y×y×y×y)+(5×y×y×y×y)

y^4

= y^4 [(3×y×y×y×y)−(4×y×y)+(5)]

= 3y^4 - 4y^2 + 5
